The construction mainly includes 2.53 million tons top loading coking project, adopting three-stage reheating 7.1-meter top loading coke oven, supporting other facilities such as dry coke quenching device, waste heat power generation device of dry coke quenching, gas purification, chemical production recovery and other production projects such as 600,000 tons of ethylene glycol co-production 300,000 tons of LNG project annually, and realizing high and new technology. Effective grafting of technology and traditional industries.

It is reported that the project will become the largest coal chemical comprehensive park in the province after the realization of 5 million tons of production capacity. The production capacity advantage is obvious. It can realize the full cycle and comprehensive industrial layout, and provide a strong guarantee for the extension of the downstream industrial chain of coal chemical industry. After the project is put into operation, it is expected to achieve annual sales revenue of 6 billion yuan, annual interest and tax of 700 million yuan, and at the same time to solve the employment of more than 1,000 people.

At present, the first phase of construction has been basically completed. The project integrates and couples many advanced technologies at home and abroad. As an important part of the new coal chemical industry park of 10 million tons in Xiaoyi Economic Development Zone, the implementation of the project plays an important role in further deepening industrial restructuring and speeding up the construction of a modern industrial system with filial piety characteristics.

Project history

On February 1, 2018, the signing ceremony of the project of synthetical utilization of coke oven gas with annual output of 1 million tons of ethylene glycol and co-production of 550 million Nm3LNG was held in Taiyuan. The scale of this project is the largest single set in China. This is the first project in the field of comprehensive utilization of coke oven gas in China to realize engineering application of medium and high pressure carbonylation syngas to ethylene glycol by Jinhua Furnace Gasification + Wuzheng Engineering （Shanghai）Co., Ltd.

The total investment of the project is 8.2 billion yuan, divided into two phases. Among them, the first phase of the project invested 3.7 billion yuan, with an annual output of 400,000 tons of ethylene glycol co-production of 200 million Nm3LNG auxiliary preheating power generation devices; the second phase invested 4.5 billion yuan, with a construction scale of 600,000 tons/year ethylene glycol co-production of 350 million Nm3/year LNG auxiliary preheating power generation devices. The project is integrated by the overall design system of China Atlantic Engineering Co., Ltd. and is guaranteed by the Lianhua Energy Industry Investment Fund by adopting the medium and high pressure carbonylation syngas to ethylene glycol Technology initiated by Shanghai Wuzheng Engineering Co., Ltd. and the waste gasification technology of Jinhua Furnace 3.0 CWS water wall developed by Tsinghua University.

On June 25, 2018, Huscoke Resources Holdings Limited entered into a non-legally binding letter of intent with Shanxi Jinyan Energy Technology Co., Ltd. and Shanxi Jinyan Fine Chemical Co., Ltd. respectively. Accordingly, the company may invest part of the project company's equity directly or through fund structure through acquisition or subscription.

In November 2018, Anhui Weida Environment Protection Technology Co., Ltd. with Shanxi Jinyan Industrial Group to officially launch a comprehensive treatment project for 6.25m new coke oven flue gas desulfurization and denitrification. The first phase of tamping coking project with 2.54 million tons and 6.25 meters of monomer is the largest project in the province. It has many advantages in productivity, circulation and technology, which has changed the traditional coking mode in the past. It has set a new benchmark for the transformation and development of the new coal coking industry in the whole city.

On September 3, 2018, Wang Yixin, Vice Governor of Shanxi Province, and others investigated the project of Shanxi Jinyan Industrial Group's 5 million tons per year Circular Economy Park of modern coal chemical industry. The first LNG project is expected to be completed in June 2019 and the ethylene glycol project is expected to be completed in October 2020.
