1. Background
Coal tar is a liquid product of coal in the process of dry distillation and gasification. Coal tar contains a variety of complex compounds, rich in phenols, organic amines, and aromatic hydrocarbons. Compared with petroleum, coal tar contains more oxygen and nitrogen atoms, high content of polycyclic aromatic hydrocarbons, low content of heavy metals, high content of mechanical impurities, odor, toxic, easy to produce environmental pollution.
According to different production methods, the following types of tar can be obtained:
High temperature coal tar (900 ~ 1000℃);
Medium temperature coal tar (700 ~ 900℃);
Medium-low temperature coal tar (600 ~ 800℃);
Low temperature coal tar (450 ~ 650℃).
2. R&D Course
Since 2000, Wuzheng Company has carried out engineering research on coal tar hydrogenation technology;
In 2009, Wuzheng Company cooperated with zhejiang university to develop and complete the polygeneration technology of coal heat, electricity, gas and tar;
In 2017, Wuzheng Company participated in the demonstration project of national key science and technology projects during the 13th five-year plan period.
The first generation of coal tar hydrorefining technology: It is suitable for treating low temperature coal tar under high temperature and high pressure to remove organic sulfur, nitrogen and oxygen.
The second generation of coal tar hydrorefining, hydrocracking combination technology: It is suitable for high temperature coal tar, using two - stage hydrotreating process, high liquid closing, low consumption.
The third generation of fluidized bed pyrolysis tar, suspended bed hydropyrolysis, fixed bed hydrorefining hydrocracking technology: It is suitable for full range hydrogenation of coal tar with high ash, high sulfur and high nitrogen.
3. R&D Direction
Fixed bed hydrorefining hydrocracking process:High sulfur, high nitrogen, high ash full distillation range medium and low temperature coal tar suspended bed pyrolysis.
